The Board were asked to review the right-hand side exhaust rule in Super Saloons and consider permitting left hand side exhausts for certain fuel types. 

After consideration of the Tech Committees feedback, the board have chosen to stay with the status quo for the 2025/26 season in light of the original rule change being made under safety. 

Stakeholders are reminded of the Technical Rule Change process with the submission window opening 1st February 2026. Details can be found on the Technical Tab on the website.
