Speedway NZ has had confirmation from Buzzbug that supply of the Shineray engine is delayed due to the Production Factory closing for Covid and there is no stock in New Zealand with the next batch due mid to late December.

With this in mind and the desire to not keep youth competitors off the track because of engine supply issues, the following decision was made.

A Temporary allowance for authorised repairs has been granted.

Wayne at Buzzbug VW Parts has been authorised to temporarily repair Shineray engines.
These engines will be given new Engine Seals and be recorded as a repaired engine in the Logbook.

As this is a temporary measure, these repaired engines must be replaced with new engines once Stock becomes available in NZ.

The date for the expiry of these repaired engines is 31^st January 2023.
