Sponsor the Speedway Awards!
  Published: 15/04/2014
It's just under two months to the 2014 New Zealand Speedway Awards are being held at Te Papa on Saturday June 14. And here's your chance to play a major part, with an exciting new initiative!

In past years clubs and tracks have been given the option to sponsor a trophy at the Annual awards evening. This has been a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge and thank the many drivers, officials, staff, photographers and general members for their efforts.

This year, all trophy sponsors will also go in the draw to win to become the naming rights sponsor of the entire awards evening. This is a fantastic opportunity for the winning organisation to gain great exposure to a wide speedway audience.

Cost to sponsor a trophy and go in to the draw to win the naming rights is just $350 + GST. Contact the Speedway NZ Office ASAP if you are interested as we have a few trophies left and the draw is Monday April 28.

Don't forget that nominations for the Awards close Friday 25 April at www.speedway.co.nz/awards and all nominators go in the draw to win a double pass to the Awards.

It's a week until the 2013 Speedway NZ AGM kicks off, and its shaping up to be one of the biggest national speedway gatherings of all time. The celebratory portion of the weekend is the NecksGen New Zealand Speedway Awards, which have now sold out. Te Papa's capacity of 300 has been reached, so we'll try and keep those that can't attend updated via our Facebook page.

A good portion of those coming to the Awards have opted to attend the AGM as an observer, so we hope they have a better understanding of how the sport operates by the conclusion of the weekend.
